Care Home Insurance Quotes

Specialised care home insurance helps to protect your residents, staff, and business from specific risks within the care industry.
Are you looking for insurance for your Care Home?
At Town & Country, we understand that there are various types of care homes providing support, supervision, and medical care to the young, vulnerable, or elderly. With different residents, care workers, and nursing come different levels of risk. We work alongside you to find an insurance policy specific to your business needs.
Regular business insurance is not adequate for care homes because they are specialised in offering care-related services, with or without registered nursing. If you are running a care home in the UK without a comprehensive & specialised policy in place, you are putting your business and residents in a vulnerable position.
Care Home Insurance, Assisted Living Facility Insurance, Nursing Home Insurance and all other care industry specific insurance is complex. Don't take a risk, speak to a specialist broker. A care home insurance broker, like us, will know the difference between residential care home insurance and nursing care. The differences determine the cover you need. Gaps in care home insurance contracts lead to underinsurance and ultimately can lead to care home closures if the policy doesn't react as it should.
We can help you find a policy with the covers you require. We specialise in care home insurance. Our dedicated care insurance staff are industry qualified. Town & Country train staff in house to provide you with the best levels of advice and service when deciding on your care home insurance package. We can offer policies for domiciliary care, care homes & nursing homes including personal care, see our list below for further details. Regardless of the size of your care facility we can insure you appropriately and competitively from our panel of insurers.
We will obtain quotations on your behalf, deal with mid-term adjustments quickly and efficiently and will search the market at renewal to make sure you have the most competitive premium based on your individual business requirements. In addition, we are on hand to help you resolve any complaints and deal with any claims swiftly and with the best available outcome.

Care Home Insurance Information

Town & Country are one of the very few specialist care home insurance brokers. We have an excellent track record with insurers and care clients.
The care home insurance market changes quickly. We keep on top of the market to ensure the best care home insurance rates and covers. Your business is our business and we want to make sure you are fully protected and not paying too much.
In all circumstances, we look to arrange a meeting at your premises. We like to get to know our customers face to face. Meetings allow us to take photographs, obtain additional information that is tricky to gather over the phone and ultimately this leads to better rates from our care home insurance providers. If this isn't possible we can take your details over the phone and arrange cover this way. We are flexible and professional always. Our offer to see every client, we think, is unique in the current market.

Case Studies
Case Studies are an always important tool, and valuable for gaining a
more in depth understanding. The studies below show detailed examples of claims and our resolutions.
Notification of Claims
Recently we have had many claims reported to us only after a legal claim has been made against the home, rather than at the time of the incident. Insurers' first question then is 'why was the claim reported late and what evidence is now available to mount a reasonable defence?'
An Employers Liability Claim
Care home owner 'A' had an employee who decided a resident needed to be lifted from their bed without the aid of a hoist. She had been specifically trained not to lift residents without the aid of a hoist and had been trained in the use of the hoist to prevent dangerous situations. The resident slipped from the carer's grasp and the carer suffered a lifting related injury.
This is a common Employers Liability Claim for a Care Facility.
The Importance of Staff Records
One client recently received a notification of a potential employers' liability claim arising from an assault by a resident in 1998. The employee did not believe that she had suffered any long-term injury following the assault, but has since experienced continual pain behind her eyes and this has been attributed to the assault.
Town & Country works with many insurers, we have excellent working relationships with all our markets and can achieve rates and cover levels our colleagues in the industry find it difficult to replicate.
We would welcome the opportunity to provide you with an insurance quotation when required, we are confident that you will be happy with the level of service as well as the cover and premiums that become available to you.
